The title of this sculpture is inspired by the Tyrone knot, the Celtic symbol that the artist engraved on the entire surface of these two figures. This pattern represents a clover formed by two intertwined parallel lines. These specific lines are a methaphor of people's lives, especially the relationship between the lovers: two distinct individual who are still very connected. Love indeed unites the body and soul of two people but it's fundamental to mantein an individuality not to succumb to the partner, but to support each other. Each clover also represents the forces of nature: earth, air and water, without which human beings could not inhabit this planet, recalling the theme of respect for everything around us. Intertwined lines promote the strength of friendship and love.
The sculptures of Rabarama abandondon the perspective of genetic predetermining, and remind us that we are not alone in this great universe: we are not biological computers whose destiny has already been written, but complex beings who should point to the only true purpose of life: love, for themselves and for others, even better spreading.
