As the title suggests, this work is centered on love: the tender embrace that unites the two figures wants to underline the sense of protection, care and sweetness that are part of this extremely pure feeling. The two figures have a similar engraved texture: there are butterflies, a symbol of multiple reading, which in ancient times refers to the soul, transformation, hope and, in Japanese culture, represents conjugal happiness. The male figure has butterfly engravings mixed with the ancient symbol of the Triskell: evolutionary movement and an involutionary movement that find a meeting point in the movement that balances the opposing forces. These three movements produce energy which in ancient reality represented the essence of Life itself. Another fundamental element of this work are the various openings, which allow the light to come out: this is meant to be a metaphor for the internal energy that is released towards the outside to get in touch with the universe and the energy of other beings living.
